Your Responsibilities

As an Excavator Operator, you’ll keep things moving at our waste sorting facility—with serious horsepower and a steady hand!

What you can expect:

Safe operation of wheeled and tracked excavators with grapple or bucket attachments in the facility
Loading and unloading shredders, screening equipment, containers, and trucks
Handling, sorting, and assembling different types of waste and recyclables (e.g. wood, metals, construction debris)
Pre-sorting on site and supporting the main sorting lines
Care, maintenance, and daily visual checks of your machine
Complying with all safety, environmental, and operational instructions on site
Coordinating with the weigh station, dispatch, and fellow team members to ensure smooth workflows

Experience as an excavator operator or construction machinery driver—ideally in a waste sorting facility
Hands-on experience with grappler, sorting, or material handling excavators is a plus
Certification for earth-moving machinery or equivalent qualification preferred
Class B driver’s license and own vehicle preferred
Willingness to work in shifts
Physically fit and confident working on the yard
Team player and reliable
Basic knowledge of German
