Your Responsibilities
As a Vehicle Painter, you'll make sure rail vehicles turn heads – not just 'good enough,' but with a flawless finish!
Your role will include:
- Preparing metal and plastic surfaces: cleaning, filling, sanding, stripping, and masking
- Priming, applying filler, and painting both interior and exterior surfaces on rail vehicles
- Applying 1K/2K coatings using airless, airmix, and gravity spray guns
- Mixing colors, measuring coating thicknesses, and documenting your work
- Touch-ups, finishing work, and spot repairs
- Applying corrosion protection according to specifications, including masking functional areas
- Working according to drawings, color and work instructions, and quality standards
- Maintaining occupational safety, environmental, and fire protection guidelines in the paint shop
- Assembling and disassembling fittings and components before and after painting

What You Bring
- Completed vocational training as a vehicle or industrial painter, or similar qualification
- Experience painting large parts or rail vehicles is a plus
- Confident handling of spray guns, including airless and airmix methods
- Skilled in surface prep, filling, sanding, and priming
- Familiarity with 2K coatings and corrosion protection systems
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical drawings
- Precise and quality-focused work style
- Physically fit
- Reliable and a team player
- Category B driving license and personal vehicle are a plus
- Basic German language skills
