Your Responsibilities

As a Commissioning Engineer, you'll bring rail vehicles to life—with your measuring instruments, technical reports, and a positive attitude!

What you can expect:

Testing and commissioning of electrical, electromechanical, and electronic systems in rail vehicles according to established test protocols
Conducting functionality checks of entire rail vehicles and ensuring complete documentation of test results
Independently carrying out necessary adjustments and calibrations
Ensuring the operational readiness of vehicles, e.g., refueling and topping up consumables
Independently identifying and troubleshooting faults in rail vehicles
Performing electrical measurements: insulation testing, ground resistance measurements, bus measurements, and high-voltage tests up to 60 kV
Supporting and accompanying trial runs
Working in compliance with safety, quality, and ESD (electrostatic discharge) regulations and coordinating closely with specialist departments

Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician, or automotive mechatronics technician
Further training as a master craftsman (Meister) or technician is a plus
Initial experience in commissioning, testing, or service environments is an advantage
Confident use of electrical measuring instruments and ability to read circuit diagrams
Basic skills in MS Office applications
Class B driver’s license and own car are advantageous
Team player and reliable
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
Basic German language skills
