Your Responsibilities
As a Metalworker / Skilled Metal Processing Technician, you’ll get heavy-duty machinery back into shape—anything from excavators to bulldozers!
Your main tasks will include:
- Diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of commercial vehicles and construction machinery (e.g., excavators, bulldozers)
- Repairing metal structures, frames, buckets, chains, and undercarriages
- Welding, cutting, and straightening jobs (e.g., MAG or stick welding), including finishing and surface treatment
- Replacing and adapting worn parts, as well as fabricating small components
- Troubleshooting hydraulic and mechanical systems and carrying out necessary repairs
- Reading and executing technical drawings and repair instructions
- Testing functionality and documenting work completed as part of a team

What You Bring
- Completed apprenticeship/training as a metalworker, construction mechanic, industrial mechanic, or similar qualification—or several years of relevant work experience
- Experience in repairing and maintaining commercial vehicles or construction machinery is an advantage
- Desirable: experience with welding (MAG or stick) and metalworking
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and mechanics
- Confident handling of technical drawings and measuring instruments
- Class B driver’s license and own vehicle are a plus
- Physically fit and precise in your work
- Team player and reliable
- Basic German language skills
