Your Responsibilities
As a Waste Collector, you'll play a key role in keeping Hürth clean—bin by bin, and always with a smile!
What you’ll do:
- Collect and empty residual, organic, and paper waste bins along set routes
- Safely get on and off the garbage truck and assist the driver along the route
- Operate the loading equipment and strictly follow all safety guidelines
- Sort and handle bins from 60 to 1,100 liters with care and attention
- Keep collection points tidy and perform light cleaning of the vehicle
- Interact politely with local residents when questions arise

What You Bring
- Prior experience in waste management or as a helper is a plus
- Class B driver’s license and your own vehicle are an advantage
- Physical fitness and enjoyment of outdoor work in all weather
- Ability to work well in a team, reliability, and punctuality
- Willingness to start early and work on routes
- Basic knowledge of German
