Direct placement: Your new employee, directly hired by you

With direct placement, we look for candidates for a permanent job in your company. The employment contract is made directly between you and the new employee. We take care of the search, pre-selection, and the first interview.

This is the difference from temporary employment: In temporary employment, the employee stays with smartjobs and works in your company. We offer both options. We will discuss which fits your needs best.

For which positions

We place assistants, skilled workers, and master craftsmen, especially in these areas:

• Trades: Electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, painting, welding, construction and interior work
• Production: Machine operation, assembly, quality control, shift work
• Warehouse and logistics: Order picking, forklift driver (Staplerschein), shipping
• Industry: Plant engineering, maintenance, recycling

How placement works

1. Describe your needs. Job, number, location, and desired start date are enough. You do not need a finished job description.
2. Call-back on the same business day. We clarify tasks, requirements, working hours, and conditions with you.
3. Search and pre-selection. We have a personal interview with every applicant, in Erftstadt or by video. Certificates, certificate of apprenticeship (Gesellenbrief), welding certificates, forklift licenses (Staplerschein), and residence permits are checked in the original.
4. Suggestions with clear information. For each candidate, we state qualification, availability, and language skills.
5. Meet and decide. You talk to the candidates and decide who to hire.

How long the search takes depends on the job, qualifications, and location. In the call-back, we will tell you what is realistic.

Where we place

Our office is in Erftstadt, between the A1 and A61. The focus is on Rhein-Erft-Kreis and Köln: Erftstadt, Brühl, Kerpen, Hürth, Frechen, Weilerswist and Köln. Because the distances are short, we can visit your company before suggesting candidates.
